Robert P. Shaffer

Founder and Owner of Shaffer Builders

Rick was born and raised in West Conshohocken. As a young man, Rick watched and learned valuable skills and the value of craftsmanship from his grandfather, a well-established Master Builder. Shaffer Builders began with Rick working as a sole proprietor specializing in building rehabilitation. Eventually, Rick transformed his business into a full service building and development company. Using his on-the-job education as a rehabilitator, a builder and his experience with hard work and diligence, Rick established Shaffer Builders as builders with a solid reputation for excellence. As a long time Conshohocken resident, Rick Shaffer has a strong commitment to the community. The company builds based on potential-not based on what is simply “good enough”. Setting new standards in the Conshohocken community is only the beginning. The unveiling of 125 E. Elm in the summer of 2008 was exemplary of the culmination of Rick Shaffer’s 30 years of experience. The building has been a blank canvas, allowing his team of experts to showcase their true abilities as builders. Through it all, it is the company’s passion for building that makes its success possible. Rick Shaffer is personally involved in every project to ensure that the highest standards of construction are achieved on every project. With hard work and dedication, Shaffer Builders has sustained a reputation for integrity, skill and client satisfaction. The company looks forward to many more years of community enhancement, commercial service and building success. Director of Joyal Capital Management Foundation, Inc.
